What the command deletes
The command removes the assistant's stored conversation mode, event identifiers, and outbound-message identifiers, and matching one-way-hashed audit and usage-limit entries for your Page-scoped Messenger account. The bot does not store incoming customer message text in its own database. A pending approved outbound reply and its Page-scoped recipient identifier may be eligible for delivery retry for up to 30 minutes and are deleted at the next five-minute maintenance run, so they are retained for no more than 35 minutes; the command removes that pending delivery record too. The deletion is processed before the bot sends its confirmation. A later message starts a new assistant session; use stop AI instead if you want the bot to keep an opt-out preference. The command remains available even when general AI replies are disabled.
What it does not delete
Meta separately holds the Messenger thread under its own policies and Page settings. To remove that copy, use the controls supplied by Facebook or contact Meta. Requests made to VerdeLaya cannot delete information held only in Meta's systems.
Request by email
If the Messenger command is unavailable, email laurenz@verdelaya.com with the subject “Messenger data deletion.” Do not include passwords, one-time codes, IDs, or confidential project documents. We may request limited information needed to match the correct Page-scoped conversation.
Lead forms and Page authorization data
The email route also covers personal data submitted through a VerdeLaya Meta Lead Form and app-held Page-administrator authorization data. State the Page or form used and the approximate date without sending passwords, access tokens, or unnecessary identity documents. A Page administrator may also revoke the app through Facebook's own business-integration settings; VerdeLaya will remove corresponding app-held credentials when a verified deletion request requires it.
VerdeLaya aims to act on a verified privacy request within 30 working days. If an extension permitted by applicable rules is necessary, the requester will be told the reason and revised target. Some records may be retained only when a documented legal obligation or legal-claim basis requires it, and the requester will be informed when that exception applies.
