Terms of service

Terms for using VerdeLaya's website and messaging assistant.

These terms apply when you use the VerdeLaya Enviro website or its AI-assisted messaging service on Facebook Messenger and Instagram Direct.

Effective date: 23 August 2026

AI-assisted messaging

The messaging service uses automated routing and AI-assisted matching to respond to eligible general questions using VerdeLaya's reviewed knowledge base. An automated match may misunderstand an incomplete, short, or ambiguous message. The service may decline to answer, pause automation, or route the conversation to a person when a question needs site-specific judgment, contains sensitive information, is urgent, or falls outside the reviewed material.

General information only; no agency decision

Website content and messaging replies provide general environmental-compliance information and describe VerdeLaya's consultancy and documentation-support services. They are not legal advice, an official interpretation, a binding compliance determination, a permit classification, a quotation, or a DENR–EMB or other government-agency decision. VerdeLaya does not issue permits or registrations, control agency requirements or timelines, or guarantee approval or any other outcome.

Laws, agency procedures, source material, and project facts can change. Confirm current requirements with the responsible agency and a qualified professional before acting on a material compliance decision.

No consulting engagement through chat

A website visit, message, automated reply, lead-form submission, or initial discussion does not create a consulting engagement or authorize VerdeLaya to act for you. A service scope begins only after VerdeLaya and the client separately confirm the work, responsibilities, fees, authorization, and applicable engagement terms in writing.

Human review and messaging controls

Type human to request review by a person. Type stop AI to pause automated replies, restart AI to resume them, or delete my data to remove the bot's stored operational conversation records. A human handoff is not an emergency or continuously monitored channel, and a response may not be immediate.

Acceptable use

When using the website or messaging service, you must not:

Do not send passwords, one-time codes, payment details, government IDs, signatures, or confidential facility files through Messenger or Instagram Direct. Use an agreed secure transfer method for sensitive project records.

Service limitations

The website and messaging service are not designed for emergencies, spill or incident reporting, enforcement-response deadlines, or other time-critical matters. Contact the appropriate emergency service, government agency, or qualified professional directly. VerdeLaya does not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or continuously available access. Messages may be delayed, duplicated, or unavailable because of Meta or another provider. VerdeLaya may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue an automated function to protect users, data, or service integrity.

Third-party platforms

Facebook, Instagram, Meta, OpenAI, and other service providers operate under their own terms and policies. Their availability, processing, and retention practices are outside VerdeLaya's direct control. Using the messaging service does not change the separate agreement between you and the platform you use.

Privacy and data deletion

The Privacy Notice explains how VerdeLaya handles personal data. The messaging data-deletion instructions explain how to remove the bot's stored operational records. Meta separately controls copies held in Facebook, Instagram, and Meta Business Suite.

Changes to these terms

VerdeLaya may update these terms when its services, systems, or applicable requirements change. The current version and effective date will remain available on this page.
