Terms for using VerdeLaya's website and messaging assistant.

These terms apply when you use the VerdeLaya Enviro website or its automated assistant on Facebook Messenger and Instagram DM.

General information only

The website and automated assistant provide general environmental-compliance information and describe VerdeLaya's documentation-support services. They do not issue an agency decision, legal opinion, permit classification, approval, quotation, or guaranteed deadline. Site-specific, urgent, enforcement, pricing, and uncertain matters are routed to a person.

No consulting engagement through chat

A message, automated reply, lead-form submission, or initial discussion does not create a consulting engagement. A service scope begins only when VerdeLaya and the client separately confirm the work, responsibilities, fees, and applicable terms.

Responsible use

Do not use the service to submit unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or harmful requests; interfere with its operation; or attempt to obtain hidden instructions or unauthorized access. Do not send passwords, one-time codes, payment details, government IDs, signatures, or confidential facility files through chat. Use an agreed secure transfer method for sensitive project records.

Automated replies and human review

Automated replies are identified and limited to reviewed knowledge. VerdeLaya may pause the assistant, refuse an automated answer, or hand a conversation to a consultant when confidence or safety requirements are not met. Type human for review, stop AI to pause automated replies, restart AI to resume, or delete my data to remove the bot's operational conversation records.

Third-party platforms

Facebook, Instagram, Meta, OpenAI, and other service providers operate under their own terms and policies. Platform availability, message delivery, and agency-source availability can change. VerdeLaya may suspend the assistant to protect users, data, or service integrity.

Accuracy and current requirements

VerdeLaya reviews the assistant's knowledge sources, but laws, agency procedures, permits, and project facts can change. Confirm current requirements with the responsible agency and a qualified consultant before acting on a material compliance decision.

Privacy and deletion

The Privacy Notice explains data handling, and the data-deletion instructions explain how to remove the bot's stored operational records. Meta separately controls copies retained in its platforms.
